MusicBiz Highlights, New Signings, and Exciting Podcast Episodes
the artist friendly label.
Dear Guins,
I hope May is treating you all well! It's been a while since our last update, but rest assured, the Guins have still been at it. Excited to catch you all up on all things Guin.
MusicBiz Conference Highlights:
Our team had a fantastic time reconnecting with many of you at the MusicBiz conference in Nashville. Our activities ranged from Brandon Holman, our VP of Artist Marketing and Wellness, leading a "Mindfulness for Music Executives" session at SOHO House, to our presence and sponsorship in hosting the Black @ Music Biz Dinner.

After the whirlwind of the conference, many of us are left balancing exhilaration with exhaustion. The event’s vibrant mix of panels, networking, and shows fills us with inspiration but also leaves us needing rest. Here’s how to bounce back effectively:
Reset Your Sleep Cycle: Prioritize sleep by soaking in daylight and reducing evening screen time to help your body wind down naturally.
Nutrition: Focus on meals rich in greens, proteins, and healthy fats to counteract the fast-paced event dining.
Networking: Don’t let valuable connections slip away. Organize your contacts, personalize your follow-ups, and offer value to foster meaningful relationships.
Holistic Recovery: Rejuvenate physically and mentally. Take this time to strategize for upcoming opportunities, ensuring you emerge from the post-conference haze ready to tackle your next challenge.
